Wild Yam is the active ingredient in every cream in this bundle. While it does not contain progesterone itself, Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) is rich in diosgenin, a naturally occurring plant steroid. Known as the ‘Great Mother Hormone’, progesterone plays a vital role in bringing the entire hormonal system into equilibrium.

What changes between the three creams is the company Wild Yam keeps. Each is built on the same Wild Yam base, then paired with accompanying herbs chosen for who it is made for. How it works for women

Wild Yam is rich in diosgenin, which the body can use to stimulate hormonal pathways, aiding the natural production of progesterone. For menstruating women, progesterone rises through the second half of the cycle as the counterweight to oestrogen, and the cream is applied in rhythm with that cycle: three weeks on, one week of rest.

Through the premenopausal and postmenopausal years, when cycles become irregular or cease altogether, the same rhythm is kept as a simple monthly pattern rather than something tied to a bleed.

In the Original cream, Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus) and Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis), two revered herbs in traditional herbal medicine, are included to further support and influence hormone production, particularly progesterone.

How it works for men

Progesterone is present in the male body too, where it sits upstream of testosterone and acts as a counterbalance to oestrogen. Wild Yam supports those same pathways.

In the Male cream, Ashwagandha, Siberian Ginseng and Saw Palmetto sit alongside Wild Yam, chosen for stress resilience, energy and vitality, and support of the prostate and male reproductive system. Men use the cream continuously, with no rest week.

For teens

The Teen cream is formulated for male and female teens alike, as support while they grow into their bodies. Evening Primrose and Dandelion Root sit alongside Wild Yam, supporting skin health and healthy liver function through those years. Female teens follow the women’s rhythm, male teens the men’s.

Original

Male

• Siberian Ginseng — Increases sperm count, known for supporting energy, stamina, and general vitality.

Whichever creams are in your bundle, each person uses their own. Apply two pumps in the morning and two pumps in the evening. Massage into soft skin on the body such as the inner arms, neck, belly, thighs, or chest, alternating application sites.

Women

Wild Yam cream is applied in a cycle. Apply two pumps morning and evening for three consecutive weeks, followed by one week of rest, repeat monthly.

• Menstruating — this rest period is intended to coincide with your menstrual bleed.
• Premenopausal or postmenopausal — simply take a week of rest once a month.
• Female teens — the same three weeks on, one week of rest, timed with the bleed.

Men

No rest week is taken. Use continuously, two pumps in the morning and two pumps in the evening.

• Male teens — the same. Two pumps morning and evening, daily, no rest week required.
