How it works
Castor oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the castor plant, yielding a naturally rich oil with an exceptionally high concentration of ricinoleic acid, a rare omega-9 fatty acid found in few other plants. It is this unique fatty acid that gives castor oil its distinctive thick, deeply nourishing texture and sets it apart from most other botanical oils.
When applied to the skin, ricinoleic acid's molecular structure allows it to absorb readily, penetrating beyond the surface layer to soften and condition from within. This same quality makes it equally effective as a hair and scalp treatment, where it coats each strand to add weight, lustre, and moisture.

Crafted Differently
Most commercially available castor oil is extracted using heat or chemical solvents, a process that can degrade the oil's natural fatty acids and compromise its purity. Our oil is sourced from a certified organic, fair trade farm in India and processed using a true cold-press method, meaning the oil never exceeds 35°C from seed to bottle.
This careful, low-temperature extraction preserves the full integrity of the ricinoleic acid and natural nutrients exactly as nature intended. It is independently tested and certified hexane-free, USDA and EU certified organic, and packed in amber glass to protect its potency, so what reaches you is the oil in its purest, most complete form.
